The Australian cosmetic industry is extremely competitive with hundreds of brands all vying for a share of the consumers’ wallet. Our brief was to design a unique gift-with-purchase (GWP) make up purse for Garnier’s anti-ageing Ultralift skincare range that would stand out from competitors, offer customers more value and in turn boost product sales. We created a design to reflect Garnier’s natural essence working in harmony with the texture of the hessian fabric that had been selected. We were able to rotate various colours from the Ultralift palette to offer choice and enhance brand alignment. The GWP was a key component in driving activity, helping Garnier’s skincare range to achieve a bumper year of sales.
